WAM Bedroom -- second wall

Here's the second wall of the bedroom next to the fireplace wall -- easy peasy lemon squeezy because I decided not to have a window in the back of the house at this point :)  (Things will get "difficult difficult lemon difficult" later on, though -- I have another set of stairs to build!)

I love this wallpaper.

You can see my first tulipieres in the photo!

I don't know who made them, but I saw them on eBay and snapped them up in seconds :)

This is a double gourd-shaped tulipiere (can anyone tell I've been obsessing about these things?)

This heart shaped-one is crying out for some decoration, so I'm going to get out my blue ceramic pen and have a go :)

  3. I had no idea what a tulipiere was never nind that they were made in miniature! But you will certainly capture the spirit of that photo with these. Very unique!

  4. Gorgeous! I love the wallpaper (have I already said that?) and those tulipiers are a find! I can sympathize with not having windows on the back wall..... don't most European dollhouses only have them on the front? They do make it hard to arrange the furnishings!

  5. Thanks Ewa, Catherine, Tabitha and Daydreamer! I have windows on the back walls of the dining room and parlour because they were in the original plans I'm following, but on the first floor I need a lot of room for the bed on the back wall of the bedroom, and I have a very wide dresser for the back wall of the Blue and White room, so, no windows!

  8. I really like that dumpy little tulipier in the fireplace. The wallpaper is lovely - a really rich colour.

Thanks for your nice comment on my blog re The Tenement tulipiere. Thankfully I only need one little one if I'm to stick to the reality of the original building! I'm secretley glad (for the sake of my wallet) that they didn't have a large one - lol
